College: Four-year,
state, residential, coeducational college of religious
studies founded in 1999 as part of Mahidol University.
Location: Salaya, (Nakhon Pathon), suburban
city 25 km from downtown Bangkok.
Students: More than 250 from all around
Thailand within more than 23,930 of the University
student population.
Faculty: 19 in the College out
of the more than 1000 faculty members of Mahidol University.
Degrees: BA, MA, PhD in Religious Studies.
Post graduate: The majority of our students
enter graduate or professional school either immediately
after graduating or the following year. Many of them
find employment in various professions .
Residence options: Mahidol University
has traditional residence halls, off campus apartment
complexes, and rooms at the College meditation training
center.
University Campus: There are educational,
residential, recreational resources, and a herbal
garden.
Facilities: The University has centers
for wellness and athletics, computers, music and meditation.
There are also cafeterias and a student center. A new
student life and technology center is now under construction.
Comprehensive fee, 2008-09: Undergraduate-
approximately 8000 baht per semester.
Complete MA program based on two years study 300, 000
baht .
Complete PhD program based on three years study 350, 000
baht.
Financial aid: Financial aid is available
to qualified Thai students. Foreign students may apply
for scholarship through Thai embassies.
Major accreditations: College of Religious Studies is
accredited through Mahidol University and the Ministry of Education of the
Royal Government of Thailand.
